There are a variety of International Scholarships for African students available to sample the fruit of quality education at home and abroad. Miscellaneous financial aid and subsidies are offered at all academic levels, ie undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s, and postgraduate for African academics to improve their level of study.

1. Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarships for International Students
The Government of Brunei Darussalam offers annual scholarships that provide applicants with the opportunity to study at the University of Brunei Darussalam [UBD], Islam Sultan Sharif Ali University [UNISSA] Brunei Institute of Technology [ITB], and Politeknik Brunei (PB).
Eligibility Nationality: These scholarships are awarded to students from ASEAN, OIC, and Commonwealth Member Countries postgraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines offered by UBD, UNISSA, and ITB at different levels.
Application deadline: February 28 annually.
2. 780 scholarships from the Korean government or developing countries
The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) is offered to international students who wish to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees at Korean universities.
This scholarship invites 780 international students from 156 countries, for undergraduate and non-degree research programs in Korea through the Korean Government Scholarship.
Application Deadline: Applicants submit their applications to Korean embassies around the world or partner universities in Korea. Applications (Embassy, University) are expected from September to October 2 annually (to open in September)
3. Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students
The Shanghai government provides partial scholarships (including tuition and accident insurance only) to international students studying in Shanghai for a university degree.
Application deadline: from March 1 to March 30 annually.
3. CREATE Program in Data Analysis and Visualization (CREATEDAV) Undergraduate Summer School for International Students
The interinstitutional and interdisciplinary CREATE Program for Data Analysis and Visualization (DAV) at York University in Toronto offers an all-expenses-paid undergraduate summer school in big data science.
Application Deadline: 15th March annually
4. Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students – South Korea
The Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) currently offers scholarships for international students to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
Application deadline: February 14 annually
5. University of St Andrews Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students
These participant scholarships are open to international students who will be studying at St Andrew’s for an undergraduate degree. However, it is not available to students applying for BA International Honors).
Scholarship Amount: Between £1,000 and £4,000
Application deadline: March 18 annually.
6. South African Monash University Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Africa
The Monash University campus in South Africa offers opportunities for higher education to a wide section of the continent through this scholarship. These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and are available to international students.
Application Deadline: 30th April annually.
7. Mauritius Government Scholarships for African Students
As part of its commitment to promoting capacity development at a high level across the continent, the Government of Mauritius currently awards scholarships to deserving students who are resident citizens of African Union member states or African Commonwealth countries.

8. University of Aberdeen International Undergraduate Scholarship for International Students
We are delighted to offer the University of Aberdeen International Undergraduate Scholarship, which is worth one year’s tuition and is open to undergraduate students studying for at least 4 years or more at the University of Aberdeen (excludes Medicine and Dentistry).
9. Government of Turkey (Türkiye Burslari) Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students
The Turkish government opens the application for the Türkiye Scholarships for international students from any country to study for a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree.
Application Deadline: February 20 annually
10. Merit Scholarship for International Students – East Tennessee State University
The Scholarship for Academic Merit for International Students is currently open to new students from Africa who are seeking a university degree. This scholarship covers 50 percent of the total in-state and out-of-state tuition and maintenance fees only. The award is available to; Eight semesters of undergraduate students and can also apply to summer semesters.
11. Dean’s Award Scholarships – United States
The Dean’s Prize Scholarships offer full tuition awards to African students of exceptional merit to pursue an undergraduate degree in International Relations, Economics, Business Management, and Finance in the USA.
Application Deadline – February 15th of Every year.
12. Canada Scholarships and Awards for International Undergraduate Students – Trent University, Canada.
The Trent International Program (TIP) is currently offering a limited number of highly competitive renewable full-tuition scholarships for African students returning to university in September 2019. These scholarship awards are tenable for up to four years of an Honors degree if the recipients maintain a “B” average each year.
The total amount of Trent International Scholarships: CDN $32,000 per academic year (8 months). The scholarship covers international tuition, and additional fees, and may also include books, health insurance, room and board (September to April), and/or living expenses.
International Tuition Scholarship Fee: CDN$20,000 per academic year, which covers international tuition, supplementary fees, and health insurance (September to April).
International Tuition Scholarship Amount: CDN$20,000 per academic year which covers international tuition, additional fees, and health insurance (September to April).
International Awards: Trent awards up to CDN$7,000 to African students with high academic achievement and a good record of extracurricular activities.
13. Pilot International Foundation Scholarships
Pilot International Foundation Scholarships are offered to African undergraduates and graduates studying in the United States. The list of scholarships from the Pilot International Foundation includes;
1. Maria Newton Sepia Memorial Scholarship awards up to $1,000 to graduate students planning careers with children with brain disorders or disabilities.
2. The Pilot International Foundation Scholarship provides assistance to undergraduate students preparing for careers who work directly with people with disabilities or train those who will.
3. Pilot International/Lifeline Scholarship awards up to $500 to part-time students and up to $1,000 to full-time students preparing for a second career, re-entering the job market, or gaining additional training in their current fields.

14. Roothbert USA Fund Scholarships
The Robert Fund USA Scholarship Program offers scholarships for undergraduate or graduate study at accredited colleges or universities in the United States. This scholarship is open to African students residing in the United States who are “motivated by spiritual values,” and works to foster fellowship among them.
Scholarship Amount: These grants are supplemental amounts that average $2,000-$3,000.
15. NextGen Scholarships for International High School Students in the USA
The NextGen Scholarship Fund is a local (Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia) program created for international and non-citizen students hoping to pursue higher education in the United States. This scholarship offers an annual award to a qualified or outstanding high school senior or current undergraduate at a two- or four-year university.
Scholarship Amount: $1,000 will be awarded each fall.
Application Deadline: May 2, annually.
16. The MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program
The Arizona State University (ASU) Foundation for a New American University in cooperation with the MasterCard Foundation is pleased to announce the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program at ASU.
This scholarship will be awarded to African students who come from the lowest socioeconomic status but demonstrate outstanding academic and leadership skills.
17. Lewis-Clark State College
Lewis-Clark State College is currently offering a tuition scholarship for students who qualify to study at Lewis-Clark State College. The award amount of this tuition-free scholarship may increase, depending on the applicant’s cumulative GPA at the end of each semester.

18. Montana State University International Undergraduate Scholarships in USA, 2022
This program provides two fully-funded scholarships such as the Office of International Programs Scholarship (merit-based) and the MSU Presidential Scholarship (distinguished academic awards that recognize academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and unique personal qualities of applicants) .

20 International Tuition Award from the University of Arizona in the USA
The University of Arizona is pleased to offer the International Tuition Award of $4,000–$35,000 per academic year to freshmen or $5,000 per academic year to transfer students. This free program is open to African students who exhibit outstanding academic performance.

21 International Students DreamGo Scholarship in the USA
Dream Go, Inc. plays a critical role in shaping students’ academic “dreams” and is pleased to announce the DreamGo Scholarship for African students. 22 International Scholarships at Kettering University in the USA
Kettering University is pleased to announce the Merit Scholarships for International Students and the Kettering World Scholarship, which are open to all applicants from Africa.
Applicants are automatically reviewed upon admission for this annual scholarship at Kettering University. The amount of this full travel scholarship is $3,500 – $17,500 USD.

23. Global Merit Scholarship at the University of Michigan-Flint in the USA
The University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) is pleased to offer a wide range of Global Merit Scholarships to qualified undergraduates from Africa.
These full-ride scholarships are only awarded to students applying for admission this fall term and partial scholarships ranging from $1000 USD – $4500 USD to qualifying international undergraduate students.

24. Fully Funded GHC International Scholarships in the USA
